Tlemcen is a city located in the northwestern part of Algeria, near the border with Morocco. It is known as the "City of Saints" due to its rich Islamic heritage, which includes several well-preserved mosques and mausoleums. Tlemcen was an important center of learning during the medieval period and was once the capital of the Kingdom of Tlemcen, which ruled over much of western Algeria and eastern Morocco. The city has a population of around 150,000 and is a popular tourist destination for those interested in history and culture.
The city is home to several historic landmarks, including the Great Mosque of Tlemcen, which dates back to the 14th century. In addition, Tlemcen is famous for its intricate ceramics and textiles, as well as its traditional music and cuisine. It is a popular destination for tourists who are interested in exploring the history and culture of North Africa.

After breakfast, you will meet your guide in the hotel's lobby at 9h00.

Start with the Great Mosque built in the 11th century, it is a masterpiece of Islamic architecture. Its intricate decorations and beautiful minaret are a must-see for any visitor.

We will visit the exotic El Mechouar Palace, a fascinating and historically significant palace. The magnificent palace was built in the 17th century and has served as the residence of many rulers over the years.

Our next visit is the imposing ruins of El Mansourah, the settlement was founded by the Marinids in 1303 AD as a fortified base for their siege of Tlemcen. Mansourah quickly grew into a large city with tens of thousands of inhabitants.

After the tour we take lunch at a local restaurant where you are going to taste the traditional Tlemcen cuisine.

Our next visit will bring us to the Cave of Bani Aad Ain Faza is a natural cave located in the charming city of Tlemcen. It is a divine masterpiece with its spectacular beauty.

Drive to see the natural and scenic El-Ourit Waterfalls are located seven kilometers from the city of Tlemcen in a mountainous area covered with pine trees.The Eiffel Bridge can also be seen from the bottom. The place is family friendly and a touristic spot.

Return back to the hotel.
